Dotyk is an interactive neuro-audiovisual installation exploring the relationship between mental states, technology, and embodied experience. Using EEG sensors, the work translates brain activity into real-time visual and sound compositions, making internal cognitive processes visible and audible. Derived from the Ukrainian word for "touch," Dotyk examines psychological and physical forms of contact—such as panic, calm, and sensory overload—as data-driven phenomena.
Touch as a threshold between the internal and the external — panic, calm, and sensory overload reframed as data-driven phenomena that can be seen and heard.
EEG sensors capture brain activity from the participant. The signal is interpreted as live data and routed into a real-time audiovisual engine, where generative visuals (built in TouchDesigner) and sound respond continuously to shifts in the participant's cognitive state.
Co-creator and interdisciplinary artist on a horizontal collaboration with two other creators. Conceptual development, creative coding, real-time generative visuals in TouchDesigner, audiovisual direction, and installation construction. Additional roles: Director / Screenwriter / Visual Animation / Installation Design / Graphic Design.
A spatial setup designed for one-on-one engagement: the participant wears the EEG interface while the generated image and sound unfold around them, turning the room into a feedback environment between body, mind, and machine.
